The Trial court denied a warrant application seeking to require a social media provider to produce “all records” pertaining to a suspect's social media account to allow law enforcement to comb through the data to decide what is germane to their investigation. The warrants requiring social media sites to disclose every kind of data that could be found in a social media account are unconstitutionally overbroad and inconsistent with Fourth Amendment's particularity requirement.
